It is a challenge to identify the real potential of the student based on the performances in school-based and public exams. Passing exams itself is a special potential. Therefore self analysis with proven tools are necessary to identify the potential of a student and select a career based on the skills.
Personality Development
There are various approaches such as psychoanalytic, behaviouristic and humanistic to personality theories. Whatever approach you take, one should be able to find out his own type, accept it and develop instead of challenging. One may not be able to change his or her type but try to learn and acquire the positive traits of other types, so that a balanced personality could be attained.
Parents play an important role in the development of their children's personality. Though the children carry the genes of their parents, their potentials and personality types may differ. Unless parents understand the abilities and limitations of their children they may harm the development of their children. It is also essential foe the parents to know the development stages in the development of their children so that the children could be easily understood.
Communication is the key to present life. Being a good communicator is essential for a leader. More than the paper qualification being able to communicate and build good relationship are essential skills in professions. Inter and intra personal relationship is possible only with effective communication skills.
English is taught in schools from pre-grade. But at the end of the school career many are unable to speak English. Able to converse in English is an achievable dream. Practicing the essential structures of sentences would give the confidence to speak. Once a person develops the courage to speak, thereafter improvement would follow.
